This park is one of the best places to visit in Cozumel. We are avid snorkelers and truly enjoyed our day at the park. There are plenty of things to do....you can watch the sea lion show, take a little informative tour of the dolphin enclosure, swim with them (for an extra fee), walk around to see the natural lagoon,... It's been a couple of years now since we stopped in Chankanaab, but I think of it often. It was the perfect place for our family. Our cruise ported and we caught an inexpensive taxi to the park. We had printed a coupon ($2 off per person or something). Anyway, as I have read reviews I have realized that we... More

My husband and I just returned from a cruise to Mexico, and we decided to forego an excursion and do Chankanaab on our own. We wanted to have the flexibility to snorkel, snuba, eat, and get massages on our own time, and we were able to do just that. We were able to negotiate a package deal at the ticket... More

Do this if you get the chance! It's amazing! The snorkeling is fantastic, and the buckets of beer isn't too shabby either!

This is the second time we have visited the park in our Cozumel adventures. The park is beautifully maintained and very clean. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The restaurants are reasonably priced and the food is good. We were fortunate enough to experience the Manatee encounter this trip. Admittedly, they don't flip through the air and do... More

Great area to snorkel with lots of fish and wildlife. It was easy to get in and out with areas to enter and exit the ocean.

Our guide was great, very political about the Mayan culture and I loved that. But the staff at the various kiosks and restaurants were clearly laughing at--not with--the tourists. It was tourist exploitation to the max. I was given defective dive equipment with air leaking from two places, requiring our dive to be cut short, which the staff claimed was... More

You must swim with the dolphins it was AWSOME! Didn't like how they charged $35 per photo! You can't take your own photos so be prepared to pay!!

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was how expensive everything is. $26 to get in, the Snuba, and the food at the restaurant was pretty expensive as well. Other then that the park is pretty outstanding. You can watch the dolphins jumping around and pelicans diving for fish. pretty nice lagoon with colorful fish swimming around and there... More

The natural beauty and the Dolphin Discovery Center was a top experience. Photos are very expensive , you can not bring your own camera. They have someone there best buy is to get the photo CD , it was over $100. almost as much as the experience. Beautiful beach with snorkeling, gear can by rented there.
