This is adjacent of the Santo Domingo Church and the cultural centre which is simply a must to visit. The cultural centre and etnobotanical gardens are huge and worth the entrance fee.

The tour was tremendously interesting by the English speaking guide. The garden is truly amazing and it is hard to imagine that this was a former garbage dump in the city. I found the tour too short and would have liked to stay longer, which was not possible because of having to stay with the group.

I highly recommend this way to see the Botanical Gardens as you can see quite easily how the gardens are laid out. This will only work for you if you don't have the need to read what each species of plant might be.
