Our favorite here is "La Tromoya". More dining choices on weekend evenings with kiosks and fun people watching. Music,theatre,busking.

There's a little bit of everything here! We like to go and see how different other cultures are. Many vendors don't speak much English, so it may be a frustrating experience for travelers that aren't conversational in Spanish. Warning: the (nasty) restrooms aren't free.

During the day the streets of this plaza have traffic but at night they block it and restaurants put their tables out in the street. The Heart of Old Mazatlan - with renovated historical buildings on all sides, the school of art on one end, several restaurants and bars. A great meeting place - wonderful light for photos - a great focal point from which to explore the old city.
