Not nice!!! Frightening, dirty, apart of the port, nothing interesting to see..I didn't like it at all

Lots of great eating places. Fun to shop on weekends with vendors set up thru out the area. Beautiful church to visit.

We visited here twice to find the plaza full of regular Mexican people. Nice place to sit and people-watch. Depending on when you go to the Zocalo you can find either calm and shade or a festival atmosphere. Mornings at the Zocalo (a favourite place for breakfast with many restaurants to choose from) is calm and cool. Lots of shade trees.
