After reading the many different reviews (overall all good) on the Exumas Cays tours, I decided to book with Captain Peter Burrows and Exuma Cays Adventures. The reviews for this tour were exceptionally good and set him apart from the others. We are a family of five with 3 kids (11,8 and 7). After setting down a date with Captain... More

We are a family of four with two kids (ages 8 and 5). We went on the full-day tour with Exuma Cays Adventures. This was the coolest trip ever! We visited a 3 mile long sand bar with sand dollars, the clearest water and whitest sand. We snorkeled at Thunderball Grotto. It was literally like snorkeling in an aquarium. The... More

We met Captain Peter and First Mate Brian in Barraterre, at the north tip of Exuma. We headed north toward Staniel Cay, visiting the iguanas, swimming pigs and then had lunch at Compass Cay. After lunch, we swam with the nurse sharks, snorkled in and out of the Thunderball Grotto, visited a beautiful white sandbar, and then headed home. The... More

Peter and his mate Pat took 7 of us with one other family of 4 in his comfortable 32' speedboat for an all day cruise up the Exuma islands chain and we had a blast. Cruising at over 30 mph with the music on and the sun shining was a great start. We stopped at a sandbar in the middle... More

Our 3rd trip to Exuma and we finally got to take the cays trip. When we got to the docks and saw other boats being loaded, we knew the right choice had been made. There were 11 total on the boat and it made for a great day. Thunderball Grotto, 2 mile long sand bar, swimming with nurse sharks, playing... More

This is a tour of the Exuma Cays in a good size open cockpit boat. The owner gave us a very thorough and informative tour of many cays going north from Great Exuma. We were able to see many sights and return home safely. i would highly recommend that anyone interested in doing this sort of thing to take advantage... More

We (kids 12, 10, 8) stayed in Exuma at February Point with another family (kids 8, 11) and hired Peter to take the two families to through the Exuma Cays. It was really, really windy, but the ride (2 hours each way) was surprisingly smooth since the islands block the waves and the boat is great. Peter has lived on... More

We had a wonderful day with Peter as our guide. Our tour through the Exuma Cays was extraordinary and fascinating. The opportunity to see endangered iguanas, nurse sharks close by, and swimming pigs ... really! ... was incredible. Our snorkel through Thunderball Grotto was fascinating. Peter was very kind and thoughtful with our children (ages 8 & 6). When one... More

Exuma cay adventures combines the intimate knowledge of the areas waterways and cays, making for a great day of sight seeing and exploration. Capt Peter Boroughs made us feel welcome as well as safe. There were two other families on the trip with us and there was plenty of room for us all to be comfortable. The trip is a... More
