Its great to take picture of the tower while visiting the area. Didn't see any entrance to actually go onto the tower however since your already visiting the fort fin castle and queens stair case, add some fun pics. Its spectacular to see and worth seeing but would worth more if you could actually go to the top and see... More

The Water Tower is at the top of the Queen's Staircase. I just returned and it was closed for renovations. Not sure when it is reopening. It isn't very tall, but they say it is the tallest point on the island. I'm sure it is a great view from the top so if it is open when you go there,... More

On our honeymoon last Nov, my husband and I walked around Nassau, seeing all the sights. We went over to the areas where Fort Fincastle, the Queen's Staircase and the Water Tower are. We went to look at the fort first. We then went over to the Water Tower an =d finished at the Staircase. The Water Tower is a... More

This tower is the highest point in Nassau, 126 feet tall. We just looked at it from Fort Fincastle because it looked dirty. But be sure to check out the booths near the base. More

I think it's closed (but not barred) , and the birds have moved in. The views from above were certainly lovely, but getting up and down quite gross! We went up anyway despite the bird poop everywhere. It was slightly scary going up the bird poop infested, dark stairs to the top. There were about 300 steps. There were a... More

I was on a cruise the first week of July of 2005 and had heard this was a great place to get some photographs. It was hotter than you know what and upon reaching the tower we were told it was closed for renovations. Our cruise director told us we would be thrilled once we got to the top and... More

Just up from the Queen's Staircase, you should really check this out. We went on May 25th 2005. The tower was closed for repairs, but well worth the trip. Not only is the Water Tower there, but there is a fort and an amazing view of Atlantis and the Cruise ships. I found out about the Water Tower thru my... More
