This was by far the best snorkeling spot that we found in Grace Bay. It was about a 25 minute walk from our resort. Just get your gear at the resort and have fun.

We went snorkeling here. there are signs on the roads warning you not to leave anything of value but hey we just left our hats, glasses and towels there and they were undisturbed. Best parts of the reef are in the back in deeper water. My companion thought that reef was more populated last year in the morning. Seemed that...

Multi color coral, variety of fish, smooth waters and free entrance fee , makes this the best deal on TCI. Snorkel right off the beach. They have roped off area to protect the reef. The fish know no boundaries.
We had a wonderful experience snorkeling the Bight Reef. There were tons of vibrantly coloured fish and coral on display. Don't miss taking the kids and grandkids too!
Easy snorkeling... my hotel provided gear for free, and you can wade out to it. You can actually see a lot (fish, coral, eel, turtle, barracuda (yikes!)... good free fun! You snorkel around the preserve, and if you go inside, you get yelled at.
this reef is great for novice snorkelers, only 20ft. offshore. there is plenty to see and if you try snuba (cross between scuba and will see even more.
We visited the week of May 6. We walked to Coral Gardens from our resort (The Alexandra) every day. We found that more sealife were "out" on the cloudy days. We swam with sea turtles one day. The snorkeling was average & not what I expected from all of the reviews.
I have only been snorkeling a handful of times and am now ruined because of the water visibility, warmth, and marine life available at Coral Gardens. I'm addicted! Thanks C.G.!!
Coral Gardens is an awesome place to snorkel. My wife and I are not the greatest swimmers so this place is great for us. Located a short beach walk from our hotel (Alexandra) Coral Gardens offers really cool snorkeling right off of the beach. It also has markers to keep you around the reef. We saw many varieties of colorful...

Roped off reef area. First impression was that we were going to be very restricted on snorkeling. However, the area is full of life. We saw stingrays, sea turtles, flounder, starfish, many colorful fish. Rather difficult to find the small road leading to the parking area and beach. Suggest asking for very specific directions before driving and searching.
