A stunning site to build a fort - an amazing feat to build such a fine structure.

We were really impressed with the Fort itself and the displays inside some of the rooms in the fort. Loved seeing how they lived in the barracks and the descriptions of problems with diseases like Malaria and Yellow Fever. Working conditions were tough! Fascinating history of how the fort was built. Tip- the Canteen at the fort has really decent...

Have been visiting Brimstone Hill for five years. Restoration and addition of new exhibits continue so there is always something new to see every year.
Incredible view from the ramparts. Worth the trip and the climb up from the parking area (hang in there - you can make it!) just to see the coastline from this vantage point.
Provides interesting...

We like history and ruins so it was only natural for us to make it to the Brimstone Hill Fortress when our cruise docked in St. Kitts. We hired a taxi driver to take us on a tour of his island with a stop at the fortress for 45 minutes. It was beautifully preserved, restored, and taken care of. We...

Amazing views, incredible history and well-preserved fort. The history buffs in our party were appreciative, and the impatient 12-yr old enjoyed the views, climbing around the fort, and the monkey we saw on our drive up the road to Brimstone Hill. Well worth the visit and price of admission.

We visited Brimstone Hill 4 years ago and felt it was worthy of a repeat visit when we went to St. Kitts this March. My kids are 7 and 11 and they wanted to explore every nook and cranny of this place. Our taxi driver had to push us to leave because we stayed way longer than he thought we...

This fort has a spectacular panorama view! The very steep drive up to the top is an adventure in itself. This site has a great history and a lot to explore. The structures are in pretty remarkable condition considering it is in such a remote location. We happened to go on a windy and rainy day, but it was still...

We were pleasantly surprised by the place. A huge, sprawling stone fort at the top of large hill. Very impressive fortifications and a breathakiing view of the surrounding sea and nearby islands. Our guide told us the British military made slaves carry the stones up the hill from the quarry at the bottom. If true, wow. There was a surprisingly...

The view is absolutely breathtaking. Very interesting ruins with good signage. There is one very, very steep incline to the upper section. Two suggestions: If you're in St Kitts because you're on a cruise, get here when they open at 9:30am and you'll have the place to yourself for about an hour before the tours arrive. Also, buy your water...
