Unless you are really into birds, I would not waste my time going to this. I was hoping to see parrots, but saw heron, egrets, ducks, sandpipers, American crone, fish, and turtle. Small reserve, easily accessible, with nice view of birds & turtles. Bring some snacks for the turtles, and they will come right up to you and eat. We saw 20+ turtles (although we had no food!). This attraction doesn't take long, maybe 10-15 minutes to admire the surroundings. I suspect its better to visit either in the morning or evening... More

We were told that the best time to visit the pond would be later during the dry season and also in the morning. However, we went there on the way back from the Botanic Park (a must visit attraction) during the early afternoon and found West Indian Whistling Ducks, Moorhens, American Coots, a Great Egret and a Green Heron.
