What a fun day! Random Wind was a great choice for a day trip. While the snorkeling wasn't the best, the boat itself is very comfortable and not over-crowded. Nice loungers and cushioned seats everywhere. Diane is a great hostess, seems to really enjoy what she does. Lunch was goo an there were snacks galore. Oh, and rum punch too... More

I've never written a review before on TripAdvisor, but I had to sign on to sing Random Wind's praises. The trip was a perfect mix of lounging, socializing, and adventuring. Diane performed her multiple roles as first mate, tour guide, and bartender perfectly. She made jokes, told stories, and filled glasses always with a smile on her face. When she... More

I just can't say enough about how great this trip was in SO many ways! I found this excursion on Trip Advisor and had to give it a try. We came to St. Maarten on a cruise ship and some of my friends were hesitant to do something not run by the cruise company. Well I can tell you... we... More

This was our first trip to St Maarten and we wanted to try something that we never tried before. This was it, sailing! It was really fun. I had no interest in snorkeling but when we stopped I thought I would give it a try. It was the coolest thing I have ever done except for Tarzan swing!! The views... More

On a Royal Caribbean Cruise and a friend booked this day trip for 5 of us. This was the highlight of my trip as we relaxed on a beautiful sailboat on the waters of the Caribbean in St. Maarten. Diane and Trevor are both terrific hosts/captain and first mate and it was a day of PURE FUN!! All included in... More

This is an amazing way to spend a day whether you're a couple or a family. Diane and Captain Ron ensure that the guests are safe, happy and well fed while enjoying the amazing Caribbean blue waters, and they are clearly well versed at what their customers like. No wonder they are rated so well. Lunch, swimming and snorkeling at... More

This was our second Random Wind experience. Spending a day on the Random Wind is just a great way to enjoy the Carribean. The ship is large with many comfortable seats. The seating has been recently redone and are clean and comfy. There was a variety of seating, sun, shade, laying, seated. The ship is never too crowded, just right.... More

What a fun day for young and old, sailing down the coast, snorkeling with squid and other tropical fish. Great home made food and company. Looking forward to going again this year.

We spent more time out on (and in) the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean with Diane of the Random Wind. Once again, we had a great time, with beautiful scenery, tasty fresh food, great rum punch, and amazing swimming, snorkeling and jumping off the Tarzan swing (all included in the price of the day trip). So much fun! Whether... More
