Well maintained and easy to follow.. its a beautiful trail and if you listen closely you just may hear the Montserrat Oriole singing its song along the way...
It is located high in the hills, and set perfectly. i started up Oriole trail, but decided I wanted to reach the mountain peak. This was a near disaster as the rain forest without a trail is quite treacherous. Once I found the trail on the steep descent it was a relatively simple walk. The trail meanders through thick forests with occasional glimpses of the blue caribbean
Great walk - 2.5 hours one way, taking it easy, plenty of water required (Platypus system perfect). Led by James "Scriber" Daly, who knows EVERYTHING there is to know about the trail - an absolute highlight - and that was before I saw the female Oriole.....
