You pass a 375 year old tree on your way there. The snorkeling is good (not anything like Hawaii, but one of the better spots on the island). It was a little buggy on the beach but fine in the water.

The reef to the left of the picnic shelter was simply amazing. Easy to get to, and crystal clear water with dozens do species of fish. We saw two green sea turtles, too. Very private and quiet for us.

You must go to see the 350 year old tree but then DO NOT drive all the way into the beach. Too long a ride and not worth it all. Mosquitos and not a lot of sand

This beach is only okay as compared to other beaches on Vieques. Takes a long time to get there, although the road is better than some of the other beach roads. There were several large boats taking up the beach area.

The best reef snorkeling on the island. Park in the center which offers the most spots. Enter from the sand beach and snorkel from there and towards the left.

Drive to the further access points to get away from the crowds. There are usually boats from the mainland that come over and dock 10-20 feet off shore as well. Nice beach. Most of the reef is not too exciting, but you will see more stingrays and turtles here than at other beaches with a healthier reef.

The drive to Green beach is unique to many other beaches on Vieques, which adds to the fun. The beach is shallow, lined with palms and very picturesque. We found the area that we were at (towards the western end) to be somewhat stony, with great snorkeling!

Quite a schlep to get there, but once there you might find your self completely alone, which is what you want! Great for snorkeling, so bring your gear.

Must go to beach for snorkeling. We were very disappointed with blue beach so we ended up here and very glad we did. In the first hour of snorkeling my wife and I saw a sting ray, sea turtle, and countless awesome fish. Visibility wasn't great the day we were there but it still awesome. Highly recommend.

Pristine, quiet and agreat place to snorkel! We had the privilege of swimming with 4-5 sea turtles. We really loved it and would like to visit again soon.
