Thank goodness I left the children behind as this aggressive selling market was not a place for them. Everyone pushing you to visit their booth which were all the same over prices stuff. It was NUTS!

Craft Market was an experience I have never had. There were nice arts & crafts, jewelry, and accessories available.

Our hotel put on a free shuttle to the craft market in Montego Bay which we thought would be great place to pick up some presents as well ensure some of our spending went outside of the hotel resort. Sadly though we found the market very disappointing. We were hassled non-stop as we tried to look around the market -... More

The market was busy and a lot of stalls with vendors mostly with the same wares. We found the holiday craft market (across from holiday inn) to be a better alternative - more variety & not as aggressive

We signed up for two tours with Jamaican Tours (we will never use them again). One was to go shopping in downtown Montego Bay, and then to the Craft Market. What a scam. The “shopping” in Montego Bay is one store, where an alleged shopping assistant sidles up to you THE SECOND you enter the store, and literally plants herself... More

I have now been to montego bay twice and I have some experiences I would love to share. First don't buy coffee in craft markets. We did upon visit number one guess what tape wrapped around wrapper that was coffee but I am not sure what kind. We were led to believe it was blue mountain. The crafts are price... More

A very sad motley collection of "CRAFTS". Point taken that by buying something it would help feed the people.......but the experience of being there and the quality of the "CRAFTS", one would be better off giving the money to the church. Not a worthwhile excursion.

Took the $16 shopping excursion from our resort in Rose Hall.Thought it would be a good way to spend a few hours..WRONG.The shuttle dropped us off & said we had 45 mins.& to follow a lady into a pathway of buildings. She disappeared & BAM we were swarmed by people pulling us one way, putting jewelry on us, wanting to braid... We joined this hop-on-and-off tram thing on a recent cruise to the western Caribbean in Jan. Montego bay was the first stop of three and we decided to just get the tram thing, for 15 bucks. This was one of the stops and i sure wish i had just stayed on back to the boat. When we first stepped off... More
