I guess you could call me a Beach Afficionado. I was raised traveling to the Caribbean every summer, then we moved to Puerto Pico when I was 11. I spent 23 years in the USVI, and 4 in Virgin Gorda in the BVI ( now that's the island with the BEST beaches!), plus LOTs of island hopping from Bahamas to... More

From what I saw Dr Cave and Cornwall beaches are one and the same beach with their own entrance fees. Cornwall was $5. Dr Cave appeared to have the better / more modern facilities. Large enough beaches on a non cruise day and very very pretty on a hot sunny day. Outside of the view they are nothing special but... More

Doctor's Cave Beach is the drop off point for cruise ship patrons, so if you're off a cruise ship, be prepared for a crowded beach, with other people that you've just seen on the ship,,go figure. The cab drivers WILL rip you off, no matter how seasoned or how savvy a travel you are, both local and JUTA, regardless of... More

If you are cruising into Falmouth or Montego Bay, and you want a beach day without paying for one of the all inclusive resort passes, this is where you're going to end up. And that's not a bad thing as this is one of the most beautiful beaches you'll see. The water is clear and calm. The sand is white.... More

Montego Bay's most beautiful beach...try the killer iced tea at the restaurant! No one hassles you on the beach to buy their wares. Wednesday is Cruise Ship day, so if you want to see and be seen go then.

This beach was beautiful, the water is so blue and lovely. It was very relaxing and the sunsets are the most beautiful ones I have ever seen.

Well covered by lifeguards, reasonable prices for entry, hire of equipment, food and drinks. There is a slight dip in the level of the sand entering the sea,but only about two to three feet then levels off.It has good restrooms and changing facilities.
