We visited 21 Dec to 4 Jan and were keen to see the gardens. Unfortunately they are no longer open - well officially anyway. You can walk through on both sides of the road, but it's all overgrown. Shame. Try Laura's herb and spice garden instead. Or I heard that De La Grenade has a nice herb garden... More

We tried to visit Bay Gardens one afternoon but couldn't find it! After getting improved directions we eventually drove past once but on our return managed to stop! This tour is pretty short, but they do have a variety of very interesting plants. Tour guide was very sweet and informative - the tour is about 20 mins total. And it's $4 US per person. I think its worth the scenic drive, and also informative about the local plants. Interesting and relaxing. Bring bug spay :) More
