Albert St. Bernard is the owner and wonderful guide of this jungle paradise. One can phone beforehand to make sure a guide is there to meet you. A zone 4 bus (ask which one) from St. George's bus station costing 2.50ecd (60p. UK) will drop you at St. Paul's Police Station. A short walk downhill will take you to the... More

The Bay Garden is a one hour tour of the islands herbs, flowers, trees and bushes by extremely knowledgable guide. Not a lot of walking, but the terrain can be uneven and a bit slick; elderly or compromised persons may not want to go. Beautiful and informative. Fifteen minutes from St, George More

We have visited many times during our many holidays on Grenada and each time we were guided through these amazing gardens by a knowledeable guide who patiently explained the development of the gardens and answered our many and frequent questions. The highlight one year was having the miniscule hummungbird nests pointed out, learning that loofahs grow on trees and learning... More

We visited 21 Dec to 4 Jan and were keen to see the gardens. Unfortunately they are no longer open - well officially anyway. You can walk through on both sides of the road, but it's all overgrown. Shame. Try Laura's herb and spice garden instead. Or I heard that De La Grenade has a nice herb garden... More

Dear Sir/Madam, Firstly I would like to offer my apologies and say how unfortunate it was that you happened to visit The Bay Gardens during this temporary closure. However, I can assure you we are still very much in existence and currently open. I made the decision to temporarily "close" the gardens as I and the guides that take people... More

If you are interested in gardens, make a point to visit Bay Gardens. We received an excellent tour, and saw the range of tropical and rain forest plants. More

We tried to visit Bay Gardens one afternoon but couldn't find it! After getting improved directions we eventually drove past once but on our return managed to stop! It was in low season and after several months of drought so there were few plants in flower. However, we were shown round by Albert and a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic lady... More

This tour is pretty short, but they do have a variety of very interesting plants. Tour guide was very sweet and informative - the tour is about 20 mins total. And it's $4 US per person. I think its worth the scenic drive, and also informative about the local plants. Interesting and relaxing. Bring bug spay :) More
