The definition of a secluded Caribbean beach. Powder, yet not-so-sticky sand. No crowds, no sea-urchins, no rocks, not deep, pristine blue, constant breeze, green mountains at the distance...coconuts get cut for you at beachside. Small but delicious seafood shack nearby has beer and refreshments. Nice surfing camp for those inclined. Worthy of a 1hr-drive. Did I mention not busy? Oh... More

This beach was our last stop of the Bavaro Runners Tour. While it is a beautiful area, you are overcome by local vendors trying to sell their goods. It made it very hard to enjoy our time here because we couldn't walk 5 feet without being approached and followed by locals selling their goods. They are very pushy and persistent.... More

Only public beach, but not a lot of people. Only thing to do is relax! Did have pushy people trying to sell stuff :(

The water was breathtaking to look at. They have horseback riding on the beach. It was an adventure for my grandson. He was so confident he thought he could teach kids that did not know how he is six years old.

Beautiful beach! Very clean, the day we went there were not that many people. From what I heard, that is a public beach and it usually gets crazy packed.

Went to the beach as part of an excursion. Beautiful calm clear water, the only down side for me was that it was shallow. Vendors in the beach not pushy and bargain. Many locals enjoying the beach.

Again a beautiful beach with watersports galore to suit everyone but away from the main sunbathing areas so not a problem for those who just want to soak up the sun with the bonus of dipping into a beautiful sea

it was a nice secluded beach. Very clean, beautiful blue water, shallow and calm waters. only downfall is that there was no water sports such as jet skiing or parasailing.

Went to Macao Beach as part of PC Mike's tour. When there, once you've enjoyed the wonders of the beach. You should really give Bale's restaurant a try! Freshest seafood you'll ever have. Prices are very reasonable. To get to the restaurant. Once you arrive at the beach turn right and follow that road all the way to the end.... More
