Not sure how everyone else seems to have overlooked how great this place is, any night of the week. Fresher than fresh fish, amazing macaroni pie, rice and peas and huge portions for less than anywhere else on the island. We too we told that it was the place to "go" on Friday, but disappointed. I liked the opportunity to grab some local cooking from the various vendors, to include the local beer -Banks, at cheap prices. But, that's where it ended.

We were told that Oistins was the thing to do in Barbados and were very disappointed. Many drunks and locals harrassing us. the walk along the sidewalk was very dangerous at night. however I can see the attractions for the younger partying crowd, but take care. We saw a young drunk westerner walking away with some locals. Can't help but...

This is one of the most popular things to do and see while in Barbados! It's in a small twon called Christ Church. The vendors there are all so warm and friendly and people from all over the world that visit Barbados show up at this event.
