The snorkeling is fantastic at Church Bay. Just don't forget to be careful on the rocks. Once you're in the water, you're golden.

I loved this beach. Went to it a couple of times for snorkeling and saw lots of parrot fish. The only downside was the uneven floor and steep gradient of the beach, which meant keeping your footing in the waves was quite hard. Also the toilet at the top leaves a lot to be desired. Quite quiet though and a...

If you want to relax on the beach and jump around in the waves with soft sand under your feet, go elsewhere. The beach is small and instead of sand you will find sharp rocks under your feet. However, if you want to snorkel and see huge colorful fish only a few feet from the shore, grab your snorkel and...

We loved Church Bay. We are scuba divers but spent one morning snorkeling at Church Bay and saw a lot of beautiful fish. You should swim out just a little bit further to the larger reef to see the best variety. It was a very safe area with calm water and the depth around the larger reef system was approximately...

We were sent here by many locals but the snorkeling wasn't great. The rentals were done on the honor system, and the equipment is OK. For the amount of money spent on equipment the fish were saw were not that impressive. Wish we hadn't forgotten our equipment at home!
Church Bay was recommended to us for snorkeling. The day we were there, there were a lot of colourful fish very close to the shore. The beach itself was nice and not too crowded. Very enjoyable morning and picnic lunch on the beach.
This beach is beautiful, but small. The ocean can be rough here, but when it clears, the water is crystal clear. I am not sure why people leave bits of trash on such a lovely beach........it could use a weekly clean-up.
Church Bay may have the best snorkelling around, but I couldn't tell you since that equipment rental booth was closed last week with no explanation.
A really nice little beach just a couple of minutes from Gibbs Hill Lighthouse.
This beach is within walking distance of our hotel, but the sand is courser and not as pleasant to be on. All the chairs and umbrellas you have to pay for (rent). The snorkeling here was not as good as our hotel and we saw many fewer fish and many less kinds of fish.
