We had a great vacation for our first visit to the lovely island of Bermuda. But the only disappointment was the massive opportunity missed by the Bermuda Parks department and the Bermudan National trust to get people off the beaches and golf courses and walking or cycling its nature attractions. Sherwin Nature Reserve is hard to find unless you know it is there. Once there, the swamp has dried up leaving you far from the pond that holds wild fowl (go to Somerset Nature Preserve or Paget Marsh for a better marsh/wildlife viewing experience). The best thing to do from this point is to hike up to the Railroad Trail...
