Be careful getting into the water as the rocks are very sharp. Bring a snorkel & mask to see the beautiful fish. We came here by boat so we didn't have a problem.

This tiny beach with 5 grass umbrella stands (free, though you have to get there early if you want to get one) was our favourite. The snorkeling is amazing!! The fish balls are incredible to swim through. Even our 3yr old went snorkeling and loved it.
It was a bit rough getting in a couple of days we were there...

Gorgeous beach. Snorkelling amazing. Antilla Ship Wreck. Do discover secluded beaches on ride down the coast.
This is a private "villa" near Malmok. I thought anyone thinking of renting this property near Malmok (which is a gorgeous beach with great snorkeling, BTW) might want to check out my photos of the property, just so you know what it looks like (really) inside, and what you are in store for. Note-none of the main parts of the...

The Aruba bus system is the best! Clean, air conditioned busses- $2.30 per person each way to get to Malmok Beach. Great snorkeling there right from a sandy beach. Wear your swimsuit and take all your own snorkel gear, then see lots of beautiful fish and even an octopus!
This is by far the best beach I've snorkeled at. We walked from the High Rise hotels (Riu) and it was a hike (3miles?), when asking how far it was most locals laughed. But well worth it, at first we explored from the shore and walked along the rocks looking through the water and at the crabs/urchins. The beach was...

Malmok is not a resort beach, and wasn't crowded when we went there. Take your water shoes and walk the beach. You'll find lots of broken coral, shells, etc... The water is beautiful, and there's a guy who rents chairs there. We took a cooler of drinks and snacks and spent the afternoon under a palapa watching the pelicans dive...

About one to two kilometers south of Arashi Beach is a rocky area with a sandy area for easy entry into water. Not as many colorful fish as Arashi, but fewer people. Many large star fish, flounder, and a school of small squid together with small colorful fish.
This beach is located in the northwestern area of Aruba up close to the Tierra del Sol Country Club and Golf Course. There is a lot of coral in the water and the water is shallow. Be sure and wear your water shoes because it is difficult to walk without them. Flip flops are a no! We have observed that...

This is the must do snorkeling spot on the island. All the boat tours go to this area, but you can go there for free. We had a car the day we went there, but the bus drops off a short walk from here also. Take your gear and spend the snorkeling. You can sit on the small beach also,...
