We were given all the information we needed for our visit to Olympic National Park at the visitors center. They had a beautiful and informative movie about the park and the unique place that is the Olympic Peninsula. We arrived on a snowy day and the road was closed so there was no charge to drive up a bit but... More

not much to see here. people were pretty helpful, but really more of an information booth with a bathroom than a legitimate visitor's center...

We did the Cirque Trail to Sunrise Point. We also did the Hurricane Ridge Trail This gave us an almost 360 tour of the ridge and all the mountain views. We even saw an old ski lift and deer along the trail. The mountains are an amazing contrast to the rain forest and ocean views that are on the outskirts... More

A nice part of visiting Hurricane Ridge. Its clean and has snacks while up there! The food facilities close for the season in early October but the building is open w/ videos and other info on the sight!

we literally got chased out by a middle-aged woman dressed in Khaki... because we had our coffee cups (with lids) at 9:00 am. ..of all the national parks I've visited (35 including this one), I have never been so unwelcomed

We did the Klahhane Ridge hike (great) from here, got snacks, walked around, took pictures, etc. on our day at Hurrican Ridge in late September. As everyone says it is a fabulous view with lovely accessible walks and trailheads for a few longer hikes, but I really want to praise the NPS rangers b/c not only were they very friendly... More

Toilets and coffee were welcome after the drive up to the viewing area for the Ridge. There is also a good souvenir shop as well as advice available regarding nearby walks.

We enjoyed seeing the visitors center; the area out back has telescopes for better views of the mountains. The ranger we talked to about hike options was very helpful, giving us recommendations based on personal experience. We ended up driving out to Obstruction Point (the road is dirt but very well maintained) and hiking along Lillian Ridge for nice views... More

The rangers are extremely helpful and provide all the information about your options for hikes. The food has very limited options, but the store has some nice souvenirs, as well as gear that you may need and forgot at home.
