Everyone needs to visit this awe inspiring national park. It's beauty and wonder are endless. There is so much to see and do here.
Stay overnight at the South Rim if you can. The sunsets are amazing and you won't see it if you take the day train out of Williams.
Took a helicopter ride through Papillion Tours at the Grand Canyon airport. Purchased the Imperial tour, which includes both sides of the canyon up to the north rim and back. There are a lot of beautiful views of God's creation. What an amazing trip it was. Definitely worth the money! Took the 8:00 AM flight - best time to go!
Always awe inspiring. Teenage son could not believe how big the canyon is. Put it on your bucket list near the top!
And to think I thought we might skip this. What a shame that would have been!!! You just have to go see it to believe it! Not crowded at all in May. Buses full of people from all over the world visiting. It made me proud of our beautiful America!

If you want to see God's handiwork first-hand, put the Grand Canyon at the top of your Bucket List! We visited the first weekend in May and commented that we were glad to be there at that time of year... our guess is that it could be a crowded nightmare in mid-summer.
I booked this all day tour thru Papillion.com. We were staying at the Holiday InnSuites 1/2 mile away - easy driving distance from the GC airport.
