Located on the west side and follows along the Going to the Sun Road driving from the west side. Beautiful and serene there. Great places to shop in the village. More

This is a beautiful lake. We went shore diving here. The water is clear, not many fish but there is a sunken rail car that was carrying boulders. It was a different way to enjoy the lake. There are many things to do, take a boat ride, catch-and-release fishing, swimming, (yes, the water is cold) restaurants, lodging, camping and picnic... More

The lake lays below mountain pikes that jet into the sky, showing colors of greens. The lake is a cobalt blue that is clear and almost transparent. More

This lake is located along the Going-to-the-Sun road inside Glacier National Park. You can hike and camp in areas all around this beautiful lake. They allow power boats and the fishing is good too! There is a lodge and cabins but they need to be booked well in advance as they are very popular. More

We wanted to experience staying in one of the "Great Lodges of Glacier Park" so we made a reservation at the Lake Mc Donald Lodge. Rooms were not available in the main lodge but they booked us in the Motor Lodge. We found it to be a high-priced 1940's motel with small rooms and dinky bathrooms. I was nice and... More
