Definitely a stopover if you are in the park. The huskies are super friendly. Even my wife who is afraid of dogs felt comfortable in petting them. Any dog or animal lover would love the demonstration and the ranger talk about the huskies, their breeding and their involvement in the park. They still use them for sledge patrols in winters... So cool to be able to go up to all the dogs & pat them. The info ranger Jack gave us was awesome & the demo. It's great to learn about their working winter lives & what there jobs are. So worth going to.

Not only do you get to see how the sled dogs pull a sled, you learn about how they work through the winter to help the rangers patrol the Park. The most enthusiastic group at the demonstration is always the dogs!

Very much worth your time. You get to pet the dogs and it was very interesting to hear from the Ranger the history' and how they still use the dogs. Fun to see them pull and run.

This is a must do on your list while in the park. They even provided umbrellas when it started raining during the demonstration. These amazing dogs and the park staff deserve a huge thank you from all of us for their energy and enthusiasm for what they do.
