The exhibitions are quite wide ranging and have various different themes. They are set in a great building and the area of Port Sunlight is a peaceful setting and well worth as diversion to see. More

The Lady Lever Gallery is part of the Merseyside museums, but doesn't seem to get the huge number of visitors the others (Walker, Maritime, etc) get as it's a bit out of the way. As it's only 15 mins on the Underground from Liverpool Pier Head, it's worth a detour as the gallery and its surroundings are unique. More

The art gallery is in the middle of the Lever village - Port Sunlight - so as well as the gallery you get to see/tour a wonderful purpose built factory community.
