The Chiang Dao Tuesday market can be found along the main road on both sides, it is not overly large but we enjoyed it as it is not a market geared toward the tourists and that's the beauty of it. You will not be pestered by the sellers, actually many do not speak English. If you need to purchase something... More

Every tuesday from 06.00 in the morning till 12.00 at noon this market takes place just outside Chiang Dao. The stands are drawn up over a length of almost 500 meters on both sides of the road and also inside. Thatswhy it is called the 1001 Meter Market of Chiang Dao. Various goods are sold here.
