The captions are in English as well as French and Arabic. They have done a very good job with the explanations. it is great to be able to provide support for such an initiative.
Went on half day island trip, not given enough time to see everything could have done with another half an hour, but museum was very good
Many traditional costumes, a glimpse on the Tunisien culture. No entry fee, but you have to pay 2 dinars to take photos. And if you like to give a present to the personal inside (those next to the camels, one that will dress the women in traditional clothes)
We thought this was a great museum very interesting. Loved the wax work scenes
We have seen many ancient ruins and mosaics but this museum is about traditional Tunisia -- I thoroughly enjoyed it. The diorama-style exhibits show traditional wedding customs and costumes, daily life, crafts, music and so forth. I think it is really worth a visit.
we enjoyed our visit a little bit head to read all the explainations but still good
A very good museum that gives a good insight to life in Djerba. Taxi drivers know where it is.
