After going to Moher Cliffs and not seeing a thing due to thick fog, I took short guided walk with Burren Wild Tours. Walk was gentle, across mountain and fields. Scenery was stunning and I was quite lucky with the weather in the Burren area. I recommend proper hiking boots, as stones can be slippery and uncomfortable to walk in... More

Paul, our driver, was very knowledgeable and could really spin a good historical tale. And was very funny to boot. How he did it while driving 60-100 km/hr on those tiny roads I'll never know. If you want to experience what you see through bus windows as you head to the Cliffs of Mohar, do this tour! The bus stops at old irish farm, which is about half way through to the Cliffs from Galway and you go on a walk up the limestone hills. The views and the history behind were amazing! John, the... Highlight of a weekend in Ireland. I was a bit apprehensive of an idea of walk but it was nothing like one of those lecture – like, filled with dates and facts walks. Loved learning about the family whose farm it was ( we met John’s father up the mountain ), fairy trees and exploring the irish countryside from top... More
