A great evening. Love to see real life while travelling and Oistins fish fry was a fantastic time. Great food everywhere
We had 3 fantastic visits to Oistins on our recent trip to Barbados. Two were on a Friday night and the other on a Saturday night.
The food is great too, we ate at Pat’s twice and had fish and sides both times; we were not disappointed by the quality of the food and the prices.
Oistins is what it...

Great fresh fish and local island flare! Had to wait a little while for drinks and food, but they have music playing and lots of people to watch! Loved it
This is a great place to taste local food and interact with the locals. The dancing on the stage is amazing and you can stand and watch for ages. There is lots of choice of food and at very cheap prices. A must when visiting Barbados!
It seemed that everyone we talked to (both locals and tourists) were heading to Oistin's on Friday night, so we made this our dinner destination. I was told there would be steel drums (which I love) but there was only rap music with a few teens break dancing on stage along with a couple drunk guys that were far from...

Really good grill food Shrimp, dolphin, potatoes tasted like heaven prices are reasonable really enjoyed myself can't wait for my second visit
I think if you are a young traveller of limited experience this is an exciting spot and the food is not as expensive as the high-priced restaurants nearby. If you are more experienced or mature, this is a hot, packed, loud rap, sweaty cheffed area with average food chaotically served in polystyrene. Not for me.
We read the reviews, good and bad, and had a game plan before we got there. Avoided Pat's and found Chillin & Grillin & Uncle Georges. Sampled the marlin from both (equally good), but decided to eat at Chillin & Grillin because, THEY LIST THEIR PRICES. My sister had half marlin, half dolphin, I had grilled shrimp both came with...

We spent a few hours here, eating some Dolphin fish at George's fish bar (It's not actually Dolphin)! It was the best fish we have ever eaten and the atmosphere was brilliant. The Friday night fish fry is very busy and noisy but great for a few hours to soak up the atmosphere and eat some great food. We got...

Oistin's Fish Fry is on every night but more people gather on Fridays and Sat. night. There
seemed to be more tourist than locals. Food is great Uncle George is the best and he serves
a fish platter sampler if you want to try all the different kinds of fish. I recommend on Fridays to
get there early before 6pm....
