It is extremely beautiful and seems to connect with the blue sky. It is best to stay there for at least one day and one night as both its sunrise and sunset are very charming.

so beautiful wonderful, unforgetable to me. though it is very far away from Lhasa but it is really very worthy to vsiit. and i suggest you stay there one night coz you will enjoy the spectacular sunrise and sunset scenery.

I think a fair bit of acclimatisation is recommended before attempting Namtso. A walk around (a side) of the lake is possible without exerting too much energy, but the best view of the lake and the surroundings is from a hill just beside the lake. The view is fantastic. However, it can be quite windy and chilly.

There was too much snow to actually drive there on this trip, but we did get to see it from the train. It is an amazing sight and wished we could have seen it outside of the train. Would come back just to see it up close.
