This was one of the best things about our short break in the Loire area. Everything about the way that the animals were kept and displayed was amazing. The gorillas were so entertaining as were the giant pandas and the big cats. The African plain was breathtaking and the animals were so close. I simply cannot wait to visit again.... More

Lets start with the good parts of the zoo - it has a fantastic variety of animals, from the exotic to the mundane, it has everything from piranhas to pandas, and speaking of pandas it is the only zoo in France at time of writing which houses them (there are only 4 zoos in Europe with pandas). You can really... More

This zoo was the most exciting zoo I've ever been to ! They have rare species such as white lions, black panthers, and the gorgeous giant panda bears. Penguins were great fun, swimming up and down, it was so cute. The most of the time you feel walking in the African savanna or Australian forests, it is amazing ! Wonderfull... More

I have been here many times and have just bought an annual pass for my son and I. This is the best zoo in France and also only one of 4 locations in Europe where you can see Pandas. Every year there are new attractions added so the zo is successful, and the animal facilities superb, creative, clean. This is... More

Lots of species to see with clear explanations (many in English) about the exhibit. The enclosures were very well designed on the whole to both display the animals and provide them with good environmental enrichment. The Panda exhibit was excellent. The enclosures were all clean and well maintained and the animals were also clean and looking healthy with not much evidence... More

I persuaded my family and friends to visit this zoo whilst staying nearby because I have a fascination with Pandas!! I have to say I was so surprised at how special this zoo is, it's exceptionally clean and the animals have loads of room in their enclosures and all are clearly very well looked after. There are plenty of places... More

We visited the zoo in august. (unfortunately for us it was a very very hot day!!) It was easy to get to and the directions were clear. What an amazing day we had. The enclosures are outstanding and the animals were clear to see. The range of animals was good and the zoo was very well laid out. we specifically... More

Over the years, I've visited many zoos all over the world including: the US, Canada, UK, Israel, Netherland, Norway and Denmark so I do have a good perspective when stating that this was the most exciting zoo I've ever been to. This wonderful zoo is really very special and exciting. In addition to hundreds of common animals, they have rare... More

The zooparc of Beauval is truely worth seeking out and spending a day or so at, especially if you have kids! The park itself is vast but the animals are very well looked after and you find very few cages - most have open spaces to live in. Beauval is now unique in France in having a pair of Giant... More
