Wow!the sight from top is breathtaking and worth the effort. Warning!not for the fainthearted,the climb is steep and tricky at places. A fit person should be able to reach the top within half an hour comfortably.

This is place has some good view of the highway and the hills during the monsoons but nothing great as such. It is very much overcrowded and dirty now a days.The illegal parking changes and so called toill charges by the locals jus spoil your mood if you stay in Lonavala/Khandala .

This mountain at just above 1000 m. close to Khandala is a good getaway for a quick trek that can be done under 4 hours. However, directions to the place are very poor and it is not easy to decipher what the travel guidebooks say. It is best to approach the place by asking for directions either at Lonavla or...
