One night stay must at Government rest houses inside the jungle. If you are with small kids then stay only at Dhikala main rest house. Otherwise stay in any rest house you will enjoy. But its highly recommended to respect the rules for jungle.
We were on an eight day vacation at Nainital. The day trip to Corbett National Park was shoddily organized by GeTS Holidays of Delhi.
I say shoddily because actually till the day before the trip which was on April 16th,2013, we had no confirmation that the trip had been booked or not though it was supposed to be since I...

HI Friends. Recently been to Corbett park. Though it is a gud place to visit and people often visit there but to my/our bad luck we couldn't find the king of the jungle there. Besides that we had seen deers, elephants, monkeys, langoors. I had booked a safari for 2.30 PM from bijrani gate which is in my opinion is...

We opted for Bijrani zone, early morning safari. There we saw all the animals like barking dog, wild boar, spotted dear, monkeys, eagle etc. except tiger. We also saw fresh tiger pugs in the jungle. Its difficult to spot a tiger in just 3 hours duration. And if you want to do that you need to go for a safari...

If its Jim Corbett it has to be with Ramesh Suyal. Excellent guide who is very paasionate about the tigers and the other wildlife at Corbett. We had a very memorable trip because of the well organized safaris & the variety of the wildlife that we got to see. The climax of course was the tigress that we spotted. Ramesh...

There is a variety in views at Corbett; river beds, dense forests and grass plains. The chances of seeing a tiger are random but when one is spotted everyone is excited. Don't set your heart on seeing one and you will enjoy the park even more. The bird watching is excellent.
