We are disappointed that we could not access the lighthouse on out visit on 15 dec. We booked a taxi for 8 hours for 21300 Y which bring us from Chisun resort Churaumi to a hotel in Naha stopping at many scenic sites along the way.

I lived just down the street from here and it was always so nice to go to the lighthouse! You must try the ice cream at the ice cream stand for sure. Kids have to be careful on the rocks though. It's cool to go was the Okinawans fishing from the rocks too!
