I spent half a day hiking in the Andes (Mendoza) with Fernando ... The back drop is spectacular and a lovely alternative activity (and much healthier) to wine tasting. Fernando exceeded my expectations as a guide. He knows the routes inside out, he really looks after you by tailoring the hike to your fitness level and is very sensitive to... More

Gettin' high in Mendoza! Just climbed Arenales with Fernando and had an excellent time. The views were unbelievable, the mountain was teeming with wildlife, and the hike was very rewarding. Highly recommend an afternoon on the mountain with Fernando! More

My sister and I went on a hike to Plata del Condor with Fernando as our guide and it was amazing. Fernando was so friendly and entertaining I would recommend that everyone request him as a guide! He was able to set a pace that was perfect for us and, knowing that we wanted to make an unscheduled stop on... More

Colanguil came highly recommended by Cavas Wine Lodge, our hotel during our stay in Mendoza. We requested for a day hike, something not too strenuous (too much vino) but with a little bit of excitement. Fernando, our guide for the day, came prepared with equipment we did not anticipate needing (such as trekking poles, foam pads, etc). He took time... More

I had a great time with the full-day rock climbing trip. I was picked up from my hostel and taken about an hour to Potrerillos where we met our guide Fernando. We began climbing immediately, Fernando provided excellent instructions and support, he was great. He is an extremely talented climber and made the whole excursion a lot of fun. We... More

The trip was arranged through Cavas Wine Lodge, for a couple of 50+ the walk was strenuous but Fernando kept a close eye on both of us and helped us through all the difficult parts. The views were spectacular and we spotted a flock of Llamas on the ridge close by, and then saw a Condor overhead. A fabulous day... More

To everybody considering a trip in the Andes of Mendoza. You will not regret it if you'll go with Colanguil, our guide was very professional, knew a lot about the mountains and above all was good company too. We enjoyed it very much the three day trip we did. The 'Refugio' was very beautiful and comfortable, the mountains stunning, especially... More

We arrived in Mendoza and booked a full day's rock climbing, 2 nights accomodation in Las Vegas and a full days trekking. Although most tours company's do not offer the accomodation Fernando and the guys in the Tourism Adventure office in Mendoza were really helpful. We arrived at the office really late (9.30pm) but with a few phone calls everything... More

We weren't quite sure what to expect when we arrived at our starting point, but Fernando quickly put us at ease and helped to plan a route that was reasonable for us. We saw some great scenery, took some memorable photos along the way, and were very pleased that we had opted for this hike. Fernando also took photos of... More
