Tour guide was great and made the tour pretty humorous. Well worth the time. If i did it again i would take the longer tour!

We made a visit at Sala Silvergruva in Halloween. They offered a spooky tour in the late afternoon/evening and it was great. It's held in the woods above the mine and involves an impressive number of actors as witches, fairies etc... I highly recommend this tour for families. Seeing the mine and its underground lakes at 155 m is also... More

It was an amazing sight and great to hear some of the history. I took the 155 meter tour and it was very interesting. P.S. It's really cold in the mine

The silver mine is worth a visit. The guides really bring the place alive, and if you get the chance stay in the deepest hotel room in the world! Just remember you'll be left alone underground with a walkie talkie for backup so not for everyone. Worth the visit.

Compared to other mines visited, this one (155 m-level) had less of narrow passages, rough walls, and stones to stumble on. But being 190 cm tall, I made nevertheless good use of the helmet. Without doubt I'd preferred better lit up floor, particularly having elderly and disabled visitors in mind. But on the other hand, this way the experience got... More

The whole area around is like a "Swiss cheese" , full of mining shafts. The mine has a grand history for 500 years. 155 meters below ground you can eat, listen to music and sleep and feel the presens of old ghosts.

I learned a lot of the two tours I made in Sala Silvermine. Ask your guide to sing a song when standing beside one of the lakes. You will be impressed for a long time.

My husband and I spent the night in the Mine Suite 155 metres underground which was quite an experience! As we arrived after the final mine tour of the day, one of the guides gave us an excellent private tour of the mine on the 155 m level, showed us the room and how the emergency walkie talkie worked, poured... How interesting can a disused slivermine be? Well, more than a little, I must admit. Being a 155 metres underground, in the cold, dark and sometimes narrow tunnels is an experience in itself. They tried to bring the place alive a little by using dummies to stage scenes of life in the mine a hundred or so years ago. But... More
