Honestly, unless you like to purchase things exclusively from designer stores Roppongi Hills may not be the place to go. It's very posh and fun to walk around, but also confusing to get around. The best place is the garden area in Mori Tower. I would recommend Harajuku, Shinjuku, or maybe even Ginza if you like shopping.

Only really stepped into Roppongi to walk to Gonpachi restaurant, but on the walk noticed lots and lots of places to eat, seemingly for all kinds of budgets. It's quite a nice walk at night time, and is bustling with locals and tourits.
