High end (popular with expats i heard), trendy suburb with beautiful European/Victorian architecture. I think it's worth to swing by if you have time but a necessary must see. Beautiful garden and if you are, definitely to visit the tower to get a nice view of Tokyo. i would grade is good but the rating is Average and Very good... More

Wasn't sure quite what to expect after a variety of reviews but had a great day. The shopping is not all Rodeo Dve, but interesting and varied. Zara was much better than the Sydney store and we loved the quality quirky goods in Agito store. If you have time check out the public gardens and as mentioned by others, Mori... More

Good selection of shops and restaurants. A little disappointing that smoking is still allowed in restaurants!

My host took me to japanese restaurent TEMPURA MIKAWA and it was 9 course / rounds of various fried fishes and it was really yummy. The street was very lively and it was party in the air. Dance bar and night clubs also there, one african guy approached us for adult club entry @ 3500 yen and kept requesting for... More

If you like to take photos of the city view with Tokyo Tower in it, this will be a good place. Just go all the way up to the observatory deck, find a good spot and shoot. However, need to be aware of the reflections if you are particular in what you shoot. There is a restaurant bar on the... More

Roppongi Hills has been described as the Rodeo Drive of Tokyo and this s no exaggeration. The main street is lined with retailers of luxury goods for the obscene indulgence of the ostentatious rich. Stand five minutes by the curbside and you will be greeted by a slew of luxury automobiles - Mercedes, Ferrari and Porsche are clear favourites. Without... More

Honestly, unless you like to purchase things exclusively from designer stores Roppongi Hills may not be the place to go. It's very posh and fun to walk around, but also confusing to get around. The best place is the garden area in Mori Tower. I would recommend Harajuku, Shinjuku, or maybe even Ginza if you like shopping.

Roppongi Hills is a dynamic experience where the architecture and finishes provide a captivating setting for an endless variety of dining and retail choices. Access via subway is easy; what's more difficult is trying to take it all in on one visit, or to leave before you've seen it all. Or, stay at the Grand Hyatt, still one of the... More

Only really stepped into Roppongi to walk to Gonpachi restaurant, but on the walk noticed lots and lots of places to eat, seemingly for all kinds of budgets. It's quite a nice walk at night time, and is bustling with locals and tourits.

A place to visit as an architect in order to see an interesting developing project in Tokyo. Probably the most recent development.
