Many comments are not related with the museum which is indeed located in the center of Tagbilaran. I am always happy to visit museum specially in place where conservation is hard. So i really encourage people to visit this museum since you ll learn about the geology of bohol, some traditions, see some old artefacts and so on. But we... More

Bohol museum is close during saturday and sunday so, suggest try visit here weekdays so that you will not regret staying your day here. Best that i love museum is the skinning view at night, the color change to blue yellow, pink and other colors. Its facing the church and park. Love it.

Without Bohol museum, I would not be able to appreciate the "Chocolate Hills", the "tarsier" and all other unique experiences in Bohol. The written text and diorama were very helpful.

It is a nice Spanish style building made from coral right at the center of town next to the capitol building and the cathedral. There are several nice things to see inside like stuffed animals, skeletons of 500 year old Boholano people, ancient artifacts, a nice carving and artwork, models of churches and more, it is not very big but... it's true what they say in most travel forums about bohol- people there are out to wriggle every penny out of you. In RIO VERDE floating restaurant, my 7y/o girl is considered an adult so we had to pay for her full which is PhP350 excluding the municipal tax, even though she's small enough to pass for a 5 y/o.... I took a 3 day 2 night tour of Cebu and Bohol which was arranged by Livecebu tours which was an excellent trip. In Bohol the tour includes a riverboat lunch and visit to a local village (all staged but quite good anyway). Then onto the Chocolate hills which is a unique site and really should be a World Heritage... More

Since I will be in Cebu for a week, I decided to visit as many tourist spots as possible. I was told that I can go to The island of Bohol for a day and be back in Cebu. I then joined a group of Koreans who were also going there for a day trip. The tour was arranged by... More
