The experience was amazing, Theo the owner shares his world with us, he has been working for many years to build a hummingbird's paradise to practice his favorite hobby; photography. You enter his world and the hummingbird world, I believe this is the only place of that kind and it's a must see if you enjoy beautiful photography and humming... More

Had a wonderful afternoon here in February with our daughter who lives on Trinidad. We are keen birders so it is a great opportunity to see so many species close up. It is essential to book in advance, so they know numbers for the homemade/grown light lunch or tea, which is included in the entry fee, and was delicious. On... More

Friday 12 th April 2013. We had a great time. We love looking at the Humming Birds, the light meal was pumpkin soup, bread, salad and sorrel, mauby, barbadien, tea and coffee drinks. We stayed for 3hrs just looking at the birds the children playing the garden and the slide show was great.

Hummingbirds and Theo - terrific. When you go there, you'll understand. Hummingbirds everywhere and Theo is a Trinidad institution.

Myself and my partner visited Yerette this month. It was fantastic to see so many hummingbirds in their natural habitat. The owner is extremely welcoming and his photography is amazing! His wife served lovely snacks. We really enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back if the admission was a bit less than $150TT per person.

This place is just almost magical. The owners/creators have built a little paradise on the mountain. The abundance of humming birds in terms of numbers and species is so exciting. The grounds are beautifully landscaped both for beauty and with flowers beneficial to the birds. The activity of these enchanting little creatures will keep you entertained for hours, and the... Visited Yerette with a group of friends. I had heard that this was a great place to photograph humming birds and it really was. Yerette is essentially the owner's (Theo) back garden, but with a mix of plants and bird feeders it attracts a whole host of humming birds. There is a 45 minute talk by Theo to start and... More

I took my 2 children aged 14 and 11 to Yerette where we were served afternoon tea as we enjoyed what seemed like a milling humming birds zooming around. I really just dragged them there on one of our "educational outings" and never expected them to enjoy it as much as they did. Yerette has been created by placing bird... More

If you love up close and personal encounters with nature, you will love this location. You see, hear and feel hummingbirds surrounding you at the Ferguson's home. They have many hummingbird feeders and gardens attracting hummingbirds and mr. Ferguson's passion and knowledge is incredible and fascinating. He is an avid photographer so if you can't take the award winning photo... More
