Review of La Casa Verde

My wife and I go to La Casa Verde frequently. The menu is good; the food, delicious; and the service, outstanding. The expansive outdoor terrace under green-leafed trees is a delight.

This a terrible hotel that doesn't deserve to be part of Marriott.

It's a very messy hotel and the attention is terrible.

It is not a hotel suitable for the family, the carpets are disgusting, the bathrooms are dirty and smelly, the truth is I don't understand how Marriott allows this

Amazing brunch with my friends - had the absolute best meal and great service. Valery was an amazing server and make sure we had everything we needed. What a beautiful space and full of lush greenery and florals.

Food has good presentation however taste is less than average. Service is not good. Only 2 waiters for 15 tables. Place is rustic and comfortable. Clean place. They let ambulant singers in and it gets loud. Prices are higher than average. Only positive is in the middle of downtown Queretaro. Take it as last choice.

I went with my wife to inferno Trattoria after a great recommendation from my neighbor in Cumbres del Lago Juriquilla. The place is very accesible and right beside the new padel tennis courts and the car wash right in the Containers Plaza. (Plaza Contenedores). The place has a big terrace area and some seats in front of the pizzaiolo with an open kitchen concept. I can assure that this place is tidy, organized and clean…this place Inferno Trattoria has a concept as an Italian trattoria or small restaurant, their concept (as explained by one of the owners) focuses on bringing the best from Italy which is pizza, gelato (ice cream) and an amazing at the moment freshly ground coffee. The pizzas are the best napoletan pizzas I’ve ever had in Mexico, and definitely my top 3 in my life and I love Italian restaurants… coming from Italian family I can assure this is a statement!!! I took a pic from another customer on a Regina pizza (Marguerita pizza). My selection was first a traditional meat pizza made with sun dried tomatoes, Kalamata olives, Parmesan cheese and fresh prosciutto aged ham, the best is their dough!!! They said it is triple fermented from sourdough since 2009… the result… an exquisite light crust with a bubbly edge with an amazing flavor. My wife choose a Giulio pizza with white sauce, pear, Gorgonzola cheese, nuts and honey…. This one was out of the blue… never expected a combination of flavors like it. We ate even the edges since the dough is amazing, unfortunately we couldn’t finish the pizzas at the moment so we took it away. (Recicled paper containers are used as doggy bags 👍🏻, not plastic ones). Coffee and ice cream arrived. I had a creamy macchiato and my wife a superb cappuccino and we went for the chocolate and she for the coconut (vegan) ice creams which are at the same level of pizzas. We will definitely return!!!! Highly recommended and not expensive at all!!! Hi 5!!!

Review of The Carter Bar

The service was excellent. Alex Mendoza was our server. The food is always so good, especially the seafood dishes. The margaritas are amazing as well.

This was our 4th time returning to the Hacienda. It’s a beautiful relaxing place. The staff is very friendly and polite. In Mexico we would call it “serviciables” whatever you ask they make sure you get it. From the Reception checking in with Diana offering information on city events to the restaurant waiters especially Francisco who we met on our first visit and he remembers us. It’s like visiting old family. I love the place. We stayed for an entire week just to unplug. The only thing missing it’s a shuttle bus to the city that would make it appealing and convenient.

Service, ambiance and the salad were superb. Entrees (filets, osobucco Cordero (SO SALTY it could not be eaten) and pasta with shrimp were a terrible disappointment. The couple we dined with had their filets served 30 minutes before our entrees were served. Even the bread was not fresh. It was a culinary disaster/fiasco! The limonada was awful. NEVER AGAIN! P.S. we reside permanently in Querétaro and we’re ashamed to have brought our guests here!!! This meal was embarrassing for this gorgeous establishment!!!

it is rare to stay at a place and everything meets or exceeds your expectations .
the property is very well and constantly maintained, very clean, very attentive and
friendly staff. a large and quiet hacienda and still only 15 minutes from the main
areas of queretaro .

We were very pleased with this hotel overall. The staff were friendly and kind, and they helped us with all of our questions. They let us check in a bit early, since our room was already ready, and it gave us more sightseeing time in the city center. The taxi services that they contract with are excellent. It is a 20 minute drive to the center of town, and the driver told us some of the history and showed us the aqueduct on the way. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the airport shuttle was excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

I've stayed here about 4 times over the years. This time was no different; quiet (even though 57 is adjacent, good air conditioning, clean pool and pleasant grounds. Parking is available under cover - some spaces are small. Posts and pillars take some spaces but are good for motorcycles. Wifi is OK, we were able to stream movies without interruption. Staff are pleasant. I never found it before - maybe it's new but there's a token operated pair of washers and dryers to use.

My wife and I spent five days while visiting family. The experience was overall average with many missed opportunities for improvement. Service is friendly and I get the impression employee onboarding would've made our stay there even a better stay. No laundry service when I desperately needed it, pool was not heated, people at the front desk would benefit from knowing the area to provide their visitors with basic directions to the town. I asked a couple of times for directions, but met shrugging shoulders every time.

Review of Tikua Sur Este

We treated ourselves to a lovely lunch on the outdoor patio. Everything - the drinks, the appetizers, soups, chicken with 3 different mole sauces was delicious!

The place is beautiful. Rooms are clean, service was friendly. Special note to Diana Castillo who was very helpful during the entire stay. Place and atmosphere does not feel at all like it is in a major city. I will be staying here every time I come to Queretaro

In my opinion the best quality traditional japanese restaurant in Queretaro. Amazing dishes, architecture and service. They have Valet Parking and is very well located.

Mid day stop and the pizza was a tad lame.
The bottom was burnt black and the sauce on top was not cooked. Not a place I would go to again.
