We stayed at Hotel Studio do Carmo for 2 nights and it was a very nice experience. The boutique hotel is very close to Pelorinho (no more than 5 minutes walking) and to another lovely area (Carmo). So you can just walk around. Francesca and Massimo (the owners) are very nice as well as all the staff (concierge, bellman, ..).... more

This nicely restored Pousada is a 10 minute walk from the Pelorinho fon the far side from Barra. It was good to spend a night close to the historic center. Room was nice and had a balcony and a view of the bay, but as there was no cross ventilation, it was hot much of the time. Riccardo the host... more
