Stayed at the Radisson Blu Tala Bay Resort after having ran for over 240km (from the Dead sea to the Red sea Relay Marathon). We had to wait for over 2 Hours to get to our rooms - not good after your all sweating and tired after running all that distance! The type of rooms we booked into was not... more

The resort hotel is new - opened at the end of 2009. Unfortunately my room, which was located directly behind the Infinity pool - had an interconnecting door which allowed all noise from the next room into my room. It was as if they were in the room with me. When I rang reception at 2am and asked if they... more

We stayed at Aqaba for 1 night, the hotel is good, the rooms are good, the staff service was excellent. However there is not much of entertainment in the hotel. The hotel has many swiming pools. The hotel water is too cold during winter, there is not indoor pool. It was too boaring and there are no fishes in the... more

This hotel is situated in a brand new growing destination and you can feel it. It was maybe built a bit too fast so when it rains, you can have some problems ! Apart from that, the rooms are well decorated, the service in the room is perfect, the breakfast buffet is outstanding. The dinners outside are quiete and evening... more

We read that the Radisson had 316 rooms and that looked much but due to the big, beautiul and well maintained, gardens, huge swimmingpools, much space on the beach and so many sunbeds/chairs/lounge areas we had more privacy and rest then in any other small er hotel we ever been. What a big difference with the Marina Plaza where we... more

This hotel is located in the middle of downtown Aqaba, only a block from the water. There is a small pool available for guests, and they had their own restaurant (that was pretty good). Rooms were quite comfortably furnished, and bathrooms were good (except for some dim lighting, and tricky flushing). Felt like a very corporate hotel (not boutique style),... more

The building feels new and with a fresh and modern design (but, strangely, you need to walk through the lobby to go to the pool and beach area). The rooms are large and finished to a very high standard (e.g. a coffee machine with pods from Dallmayr in Munich). What really stands out here is the service and the small... more

We choose the hotel by pure chance and were happy with it. It was reasonably priced, cheap compared to other places we stayed at in Jordan. Room was very big, clean, with sitting area, satellite tv, big (empty fridge), comfortable bed and great views over the busy streets of the shopping area. Staff was friendly. There is no internet access... more

If you want to be by the best beaches in South Beach, Aqaba and scuba dive, you simply cannot find a better place that Int Arab Divers village. And as an added bonus the guest house is great! The owners/staff were super cool and friendly and provided all the help I could possibly need. I thought the room was excellent,... more

A delightful open air cafe where local cuisine is promptly served with a flourish and a smile. They offered a great range of food which proved to be very tasty and appetising; as a mood setting, traditional music played in the background (from a cassette player!) as we sat back and watched locals and tourists enjoying a balmy evening. Definitely... more

We spent three lovely nights and days in this hotel and would have stayed longer if we had time. Hotel is still very new and quiet with not too many guests. The staff were happy and smiling and the best trained we've come across in a long time in the middle east (a credit to their management). The swimming pools... more

I stayed at Obeid's Bedouin Camp in the Wadi Rum Protected Area for one overnight, and Obeid also arranged all of my transportation to and from the airport in Amman, and to and from Petra. He met me at the airport and was a charming host and companion on the 3 hour drive to Petra where I stayed in a... more

My wife and I stayed for five nights. Although it was only the two of us we had a family room and these are very comfortable and would be perfect for a family of four. Located a little off the main street in Aqaba, the hotel is in the center of all the action. Along with its own restaurant and pool, the hotel boasts an amazing breakfast with made-to-order omelets plus all the usual fruits, cheeses and pastries in a Mid-Eastern breakfast. The staff speaks very good English and were helpful with anything we asked.... more

To be honest there's not too much to the town. As the taxi driver said on the way in the shops sell stuff made in China and we didn't enjoy walking around as much as other places we have visited. What Aqaba did have was excellent weather in February an opportunity to unwind beach/pool side after visiting the sights of... more

Ended up eating at the Ali Baba on three occasions. Maybe it was because we didn't look very hard but we didn't find many restaurants that suited us. The Ali Baba was near our hotel and recommended in the Rough Guide. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. more

We've stayed in a number of first class hotels and there are comparable facilities in them. What put the Kempinski apart was the personal attention and level of service that guests enjoyed. Our stay was marvellous from the moment we got to reception. Our departure arangements were established and without requesting we were offered complimentary late check out. The room... more
