We knew we were in trouble when the first response from reception was "we didn't realise you would have so much luggage" - my wife and I only had 1 large and 1 medium size suitcase between us!! We stayed at the Island Shangri-La for 10 days and found it to be an amazing hotel. Our room was beautiful and a good size, with some good little touches to make our stay much more comfortable. The free wi-fi was a great additon to the room and our view was lovely, despite us staying in the cheapest room type.... more
