i thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cotton Tree Lodge. The cabanas were comfortable, with wonderful hammocks on our porch, which made for many a relaxing afternoon. The staff was helpful, cheerful, and personable. There was plenty to do around the Lodge - kayaks, horseback riding, plant walks, swimming, a ropeswing(!) - and on top of those, the organized tours offered... more

If you are going to Southern Belise, you gotta stay here for at least a few nights. Make it a week if you can. There is lots to do, and the place is heavenly and totally secluded, in a really really good way. more

We really enjoyed our stay at Tranquility Lodge. The name says it all. I actually said to my brother, "Wow. It's so beautiful and tranquil here" and he said, "Hmm...do you think that is why it's called Tranquility Lodge?" with a wry smile.
